Benefit-eligible employees (75% FTE or higher) can elect dental coverage with Delta Dental of Ohio with or without electing medical and/or vision coverage. In addition, eligible dependents who are not enrolled in medical and/or vision coverage may enroll in dental coverage if the employee is enrolled as the policyholder.
2027 Dental Plan Change: Dental Implant Coverage
Effective January 1, 2027, dental implant coverage will be available only to members age 19 and older. This age requirement reflects jaw and bone development, which may continue through adolescence.
Choosing a Dentist
You may receive care from any licensed dentist. However, you will receive a higher level of benefits for covered services when you visit a Delta Dental PPO network dentist.

Dental Insurance Cards
Delta Dental does not mail insurance cards. You may access your card through the Delta Dental of Ohio website or let your dentist know that your dental coverage is through Wright State University. Wright State's group plan number is OH-07344.
