About Xtender
CaTS will be upgrading Xtender on July 31 at 5 p.m. The new version of Xtender will have the same functionality as the previous version, but with an updated user interface.

Getting Started
Installing the Xtender Plugin
If you have a physical scanner and would like to scan directly into Xtender, you must first install the software through Software Center (PC Users) or Casper (Mac Users):
PC Users
Accessing Software Center

Open your Start Menu

Search for Software Center and open it

Search for Xtender
-
Select Xtender (Captiva Cloud Toolkit)

Click Install
Note: You may need to restart your computer once the installation is complete
Mac Users
If you have not yet enrolled in Casper, visit Installing Casper
Accessing Casper

Open the Casper Self-Service application

If prompted, login with your Campus 'w' username and password

Search for Xtender
-
Click Install for Xtender Plugin (Captiva Cloud Toolkit)
Note: You may need to restart your computer once the installation is complete
