IBM Cognos Analytics is the enterprise application for standardized reporting at Wright State University. Using Cognos, authorized users can view university student and financial reports. This powerful tool provides users access to reports and dashboards, along with the ability to drill down to detail data quickly and securely.

Sharing reports: Cognos reports containing student data should be shared via a Cognos link or sent through Wright State University's Secure Share service.
Saving reports: Saving Cognos reports containing private data should be limited to network drives. Reports containing private data should NOT be saved to OneDrive or SharePoint sites.

Running reports in the background: Some Cognos reports can be large and may take time to run. Instead of waiting, you can choose to run the report in the background, by either saving the output to your My Contents Folder or sending an email link to the report.
