About Workshops

CaTS offers formal, hands-on training for a variety of applications and systems. Below you'll find a list of workshops currently available.

Workshops are free for all faculty, staff, and students of Wright State University. All workshops have a maximum number for enrollment, so the sooner you register, the better your chances of getting a seat. If you need to cancel your registration, please send an email to cats-training@wright.edu at least two business days prior to the workshop date. For other questions, please contact the CaTS Training Office via email at cats-training@wright.edu.


 

    Registration Instructions

    To register for a workshop, follow these steps:

    Click the Register link for the course you wish to attend.

    2

    Log in with your campus username and password. 

    3

    In the Attendees section, click Register for this Workshop.

    4

    You are now registered and a confirmation email will be sent to your email address.

    Cisco Webex

    Cisco Webex provides on-demand collaboration, online meeting, web conferencing, and videoconferencing applications.

    Online training for Cisco Webex can be found at https://golearn.webex.com/learn.

    Banner 9 Admin General Navigation

    This workshop provides an overview of the new user interface in Banner 9 Admin. Banner 9 is completely browser-based and offers a more streamlined experience for the user!

    Getting Started with Qualtrics Survey Software

    This new workshop will give an overview of Qualtrics Survey Software, a powerful tool that allows any members of Wright State to create surveys for free. Learn how to set up your Qualtrics account, create a new survey, learn about the different question types, and organize your survey to collect data that can help shape your department's business decisions!

    Salesforce Training

    Salesforce Training

    Intro to Salesforce

    This general introduction will teach you the navigation and vocabulary you need to work with Salesforce. You will also learn how to create a list view to manage your workload. 

    ReaderRX

    Sign up for this training if you review admissions applications or help facilitate this process. 

    Intro to Reports

    Learn to make reports and dashboards in Salesforce to generate mailing lists, gain insight on who is applying to your programs, and create a personalized dashboard for your program.
