MATLAB Software

Wright State University now offers all faculty, staff, and students a free copy of MATLAB for use on home computers. MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive environment that enables you to perform computationally intensive tasks faster than with traditional programming languages. This software is used in many courses throughout the college.

To be eligible for the free MATLAB license, you must be a current Wright State faculty, staff, or student.

To obtain your copy, do the following:

  1. In a new tab, login to wings.wright.edu with your campus 'w' username and password
  2. After you're logged in, switch back to this page and click on the link below:
    MATLAB - Activation Code and Download Instructions
  3. Follow the instructions on the page to obtain your free MATLAB license
