Free Adobe Software for Faculty & Staff

CaTS recently signed an agreement with Adobe, which allows free installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud on the university-owned computers of Wright State faculty and staff.

Important Notes:

Software can only be installed on university-owned computers connected to the Wright State domain.
Acrobat Pro is available now.
Creative Cloud will be available later this summer.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 11

What is Adobe Acrobat Pro 11?

Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 is a design and editing tool for .pdf files. It includes:
• Acrobat Pro 11
• Acrobat Distiller
• Form Designer

Installation Instructions

For Windows PC users, download Acrobat Pro 11 by following these steps:

Click Start >>All Programs
Click on Software Center
Under Available Software, find Adobe Acrobat Pro, then click to install

Adobe Creative Cloud

Creative Cloud will be available later this summer!

More About Creative Cloud

CaTS plans to launch work-at-home offerings for Creative Cloud this summer. This will be a low-cost option for faculty and staff to purchase a personal annual subscription for the same Creative Cloud software available on campus.

Other Software

Many of the university’s software agreements renew this summer, including Microsoft Office, SAS and SPSS. CaTS is working to streamline offerings, lower or eliminate costs, and simplify installation. Stay tuned for more details.
