Printing

Laptops must be connected to the WSU-Secure wireless network on campus to use the PrintWright system. Also, users must have a Wright1 Card with money deposited in the Raider Cash account to purchase their printed documents.  More information about on campus printing can be found on our PrintWright Information page.


Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I get to keep the laptop?

    You will get to keep the laptop as long as you continue enrollment for the following spring and fall semesters. If you withdraw from classes prior to the next fall semester you will need to return the laptop to CaTS. You will have a transcript hold until such time has passed that you get to keep the laptop.

  • Who do I contact for support for the laptop?

    You can contact the CaTS Help Desk at (937)775-4827 or via email at helpdesk@wright.edu.  Alternatively, you can bring the laptop down to 025 Library Annex (CaTS Help Desk) and we can assist you with your computer in person.

  • How long is the warranty good for?

    Laptops that are part of the Take Flight program have accidental warranty coverage for 3 years.  You can find the warranty date expiration on the sticker located on the bottom of the computer. The battery installed in the computer has a warranty for 1 year.

  • How do I submit a warranty repair?

    As long as you are a student of Wright State, you can bring the laptop to the CaTS Help Desk in 025 Library Annex for any warranty repairs.  You will be provided a loaner computer while the computer is repaired through Dell.  Remember to backup any of your data prior to submitting your computer for warranty repair.  If you are no longer a student at Wright State you will need to contact Dell directly for support.

  • What is covered under the warranty?

    The battery installed in the computer has a warranty for 1 year.

    What’s Covered:

    • Liquid spilled on or in unit
    • Drops, falls, and other collisions
    • Electrical surges
    • Damaged or broken LCD due to a drop or fall

    What’s Not Covered

    • Damage due to fire
    • Intentional damage (such as hammer marks)
    • Normal wear
    • Cosmetic damage
    • Consumable parts (ex: bulbs, toner)
    • Theft
