OneDrive and SharePoint Access Restored

Earlier access issues to OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Sites have been resolved.

Currently, Microsoft is experiencing widespread intermittent access issues to both OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Sites affecting both on and off-campus locations. Microsoft is aware of the issue and working on a resolution.

CaTS will notify you once these services have been restored. 

Emergency Wireless Maintenance for 3/7

CaTS will be performing emergency maintenance on the wireless networks over the next 30 minutes causing brief outages in the following areas:

  • Wright State Nutter Center
  • Setzer Pavillion
  • All Residence Halls

Wright1 Card Outage for Wednesday, 3/6

The Wright1 Card system will be unavailable during the following times due to system maintenance:

Date: Wednesday, March 6th
Time: 12 a.m. - 7 p.m.

During this time, access to the following Wright1 Card services will be unavailable:

  • Online deposits and account statements
  • Sales at off-campus and on-campus merchants (Union Market will be open and accepting cash/credit card)
  • Wright1 and credit card swipes at campus vending machines
  • All pay-for-print card swipes at printing stations, copiers, and laundry (does not include Xerox printer card swipes)

During this time, the Wright1 Card office in E238 Student Union will also be closed.

Network Shared Drive File Access Restored

All access to files saved on the shared network drives has been restored.

At this time, some individuals are experiencing issues when trying to access files saved on the shared network drives. When attempting to open or save certain files, an error message such as 'Access denied. Contact your Administrator' appears.

CaTS is aware of the issue and is currently working on a solution. We will notify the University when all access has been restored.

Upcoming Spring Break Week Maintenance

CaTS will be performing maintenance the week of Spring Break (3/2 - 3/10) causing both network and service outages for the following systems:


Date: Saturday, March 2 - Sunday, March 3
Time: 7 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Due to an upgrade of our VDI environment to Horizon 7.7, all VDI systems will be unavailable during the above date and time. It is not necessary to power down your VDI during this date and time. All Virtual labs in Millett and the Library Annex will be closed until Noon on Sunday, March 3. 


Date: Wednesday, March 6
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 a.m.

CaTS will be performing an upgrade to the campus wireless network; all wireless connectivity will be unavailable during this time.


Date: Saturday, March 9
Time: 6 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Due to a software upgrade of our storage systems, H:, K:, and R: drives will experience intermittent connection outages during the above date and time.

VDI System Outage for 3/2-3/3

Due to an upgrade of our VDI environment to Horizon 7.7, all VDI systems will be unavailable during the following date and time:

Date: Saturday, March 2 - Sunday, March 3
Time: 7 p.m. - 1 a.m.

It is not necessary to power down your VDI during this date and time. All VDI labs will be closed until Noon on Sunday, March 3.

On Tuesday, February 19, OnTheHub, Wright State's online software store, will be unavailable from 7 - 10 a.m. due to vendor scheduled system maintenance.
