Attention Faculty: Information Concerning RaiderMail and Network Drives

As a faculty member, you may have recently heard of the changes CaTS has made for student email and file storage. Some faculty members have questioned whether they, too, would have to make these same changes. As faculty and staff, you can continue using your email as you’ve always done, and you are still going to have access to your personal H:\ drive and departmental K:\ drive to store your files. Note, however, that CaTS is currently discussing faculty/staff email options with the Faculty IT Committee. You will be notified of this information as it becomes available.

Please be aware that you may hear students talking about RaiderMail and the removal of the H:\ drive, or you may see signs posted in campus computer labs mentioning these changes. Rest assured that you will not lose access to your personal or departmental files (H:\ and K:\ drive).

If you would like to learn more about how these changes affect your students, see the FAQ located at https://www.wright.edu/cats/general/fac_h_drive_faq.html. If you have further questions, feel free to contact the CaTS Help Desk at (937) 775-4827 or toll free at 1-888-775-4827.
