On August 8, 2022 CaTS announced as part of the CaTS-ITS Resource Alignment and Retention Project that beginning on Thursday, May 4, 2023, courses in Pilot that had not been accessed in the last six academic years would be deleted. Due to recently discovered technical limitations, it could not be guaranteed that critical data would not be purged; therefore, this part of the project has been postponed indefinitely.
CaTS is actively working with the vendor to identify and resolve any questions related to the storage location of files within Pilot. Once these limitations have been addressed, CaTS will announce a new date on which the Retention Project will continue.
Changes in retention policies that are already in place for WebEx and Panopto will not be affected by this postponement.
