Electronic Cigarettes - Addendum

After careful consideration, the university has decided to treat electronic cigarettes, (or e-cigarettes) the same as it does traditional cigarettes in regards to the campus smoking policy.

The updated Wright Way policy will make no distinction between cigarettes or e-cigarettes with respect to where they can be smoked.

Beginning the first day of class spring semester, Jan. 12, 2015, all previous campus smoking restrictions will also now apply to e-cigarettes on both the Dayton and Lake Campuses.  Specifically, smoking is not permitted in interior spaces – classrooms, offices or hallways.
