SNAP Benefits Information
Students who have had their SNAP benefits paused are eligible to shop twice a month at the Raider Food Pantry during the shutdown. Proof of paused benefits is required.

About the Raider Food Pantry
The Raider Food Pantry at Wright State serves all students in need of emergency food assistance. The food pantry is open to any Wright State student enrolled in classes for the current term.

The Food Pantry is located at 055 Student Union.
Using the Food Pantry
Students in need of emergency food assistance should visit the pantry during open hours and a staff member or student worker will be there to assist. Students will be asked to show a photo ID, verify their University ID number, and fill out a short form. Students must schedule an appointment to shop (campus username and password required to log in) ahead of time.

You can support the Food Pantry’s mission in a number of ways. You can purchase from our Amazon wish list, donate food and other items, or provide financial contributions.
Other Food Assistance

Any Wright State student enrolled in classes for the current term.

What kind of food is available?
We have non-perishables like canned beans, ramen noodles, dry pasta, instant oatmeal, cereal, rice, and many more.

How often can I shop at the pantry?
Students can shop once a month. After shopping, students receive an email regarding their next available shop date.

Do you take walk-ins?
No. The Raider Food Pantry is appointment only. Appointments can be made online.

What if I miss my appointment?
Students who are more than 5 minutes late without notice will have their appointment canceled. 3 cancellations in a row will result in a meeting with the student's assigned Advocate/Case Manager to discuss needs.

Do you take donations?
Yes! We have a drop box outside the pantry for donations. Please ensure the items you donate have a clear expiration date and are not expired.

How much food can I take?
Each section of the shopping floor has a limit. A worker will help students shop to stay within limits. Limits vary based on supply and are subject to change without notice.

Can I bring my friends to shop with me?
No, only one student is allowed in the pantry at a time. Young children and personal aides are the only exceptions.
