This presentation will be given by Carl Brun, Assistant Vice President for University Curricular Programs.  He will provide an overview of the Writing Across the Curriculum program.  He will discuss writing as a teaching tool to enhance learning outcomes.  He will discuss requirements for Integrative Writing (IW) courses within CORE and the major.  He will discuss the results of the Faculty Senate’s Undergraduate Curriculum Review Committee’s review of IW courses in Spring 2015.  He will share examples of instructors who have successfully used writing to achieve desired learning outcomes.
