2026 Department of Psychiatry Research Symposium

Dear Colleagues,

The Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry is pleased to announce our Annual Research Symposium, which will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Berry Room at the Nutter Center.

We invite faculty, residents, fellows, medical students, and collaborators from all departments to submit an abstract for consideration. Projects may be presented as a poster or podium presentation, and should focus on psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health–related topics. Psychiatry Residents will be given priority for podium presentations.

This event provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your research, share innovations, and foster interdepartmental collaboration in advancing mental health scholarship.

Abstract Submission Details:

• Deadline: January 1, 2026 at midnight.
• Format: Structured abstracts (up to 300 words)
