Staff Council

The purpose of the Staff Council was to provide a forum in which classified and unclassified staff at Wright State University were informed about ongoing and anticipated issues of interest and to give them the opportunity to voice their views regarding those issues to campus decision-makers.

Unclassified Staff Advisory Council

The purpose of the Unclassified Staff Advisory Council (USAC) was to represent its members to the university by promoting their general welfare; advocating for unclassified staff through active participation in university governance structure; reviewing, initiating and making a recommendation on relevant university policies and procedures; encouraging and facilitating communication among members; and encouraging professional development opportunities.

One of the prime responsibilities of this council was to serve the educational community by creating and maintaining an environment conducive to the teaching, learning, research, and service functions of higher education. The recommendations of the council were submitted to the university president.

Classified Staff Advisory Council

The purpose of the Classified Staff Advisory Council was to promote its constituency; review, initiate and make recommendations on appropriate issues, policies, and procedures; foster and facilitate communications among members, and provide opportunities for professional growth.
