A longstanding tradition at medical schools nationwide, Match Day is a highly anticipated event. It is the day when graduating medical students across the nation learn where they will be going as new doctors to receive advanced clinical training in a residency program. At exactly noon on the third Friday in March, students will begin opening envelopes telling them if they matched in their first choice program or not.
Match Day at Boonshoft School of Medicine will be live-streamed on the Wright State University website beginning at 11:45 a.m., on Friday, March 18. You will be able to view it on the university’s video on demand channel.
Live stream of events usually starts about 15 minutes before the official start time, which is noon for Match Day.
After the event is over, the video will be available on the same site for up to a year. You will need to search for it under “Events.” It will also be embedded on the Boonshoft School of Medicine website on a page with news about where our students matched. A link to the video will be posted on Boonshoft School of Medicine home page
