Facilities Management and Campus Operations support the Wright State University mission and vision through planning and maintenance of the campus infrastructure and environment. We serve as stewards of the university’s physical and natural resources and aim to enhance the experience of students, faculty, staff, and visitors with user-focused design and safe, sustainable practices.
Facilities Management and Campus Operations includes the following departments and offices:
Design and Construction
Design and Construction supports the university community by providing project management for all new construction, renovation, and infrastructure upgrade projects on the Dayton Campus, Lake Campus and all off-campus facilities. Design and Construction services include project design and review, code and procedure compliance, cost estimating, construction bidding, and award of contracts. Project management includes assurance of quality construction through on-site management, compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes, and the management of project budgets and schedules. If you have questions about current projects, please email the corresponding project manager or send a message to construction@wright.edu.
Facilities Operations
Facilities Operations is comprised of approximately 190 very dedicated and talented men and women that take care of the many custodial, grounds, maintenance, and energy-related duties at both Wright State campuses and several outlying buildings.
Our mission statement reads "…a service-oriented organization committed to meeting the needs of students, faculty, and staff." We exist simply to meet the University's needs and to help create the best possible educational environment. We strive to do this, within our means and abilities, every day.
