On Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022, the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology is hosting Dr. David Rubenstein, the Chief Scientific Officer of Dermavant Services, Inc. Dr. Rubenstein is a Louis C. Skinner Jr. Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology. Dr. Rubenstein's research is "focused on regulation cell adhesion and the inter-relationship between alterations in adhesion and the biology of the cell" (Rubenstein Laboratories, 2022). Dr. Rubstein's talk is entitled, "Tapinarof and the Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor (AhR) in Inflammatory Skin Disease."
Please arrive at 9:00 AM to HS 116 if you wish to join. The seminar will begin promptly at 9:30 AM.
