Linguae mortuae vivunt apud Universitatem Wright State – The dead languages live at Wright State University.

On Monday, April 20, 2015, or ante diem duodecimum Kalendas Maias in the MMDCCLXVIII (2768) year from the founding of Rome (ab urbe condita), Wright State University will be hosting its first Latin Day. Area high school students will be participate in activities such as scenes from Plautus’ Miles Gloriosus, a discussion on the Roman household, and an introduction into how to read Latin inscriptions. They will also enjoy a lunch followed by a trivia contest.
