Transfer Scholarships
Transfer students are eligible for the same types of financial aid and scholarships available to all Wright State students. We have specific scholarships tailored to transfer students, such as the Transfer Associate Degree Scholarship and the Wright-Path Scholarship.
Transfer Associate Degree Scholarship
Wright State University's Transfer Associate Degree Scholarship is designed to recognize academically outstanding transfer students first enrolling in 2026-27 and have earned an Associate Degree from a public college or university, with a final cumulative GPA within the following ranges.

Scholarship Details:
- No scholarship application is needed.
- Must submit a final transcript showing the associate degree was earned and the corresponding cumulative GPA.
- Students must enroll at least half-time.
- The scholarship is divided evenly between Fall and Spring.
- Students must be seeking their first bachelor’s degree.
- Students can receive the scholarship for a total of 6 semesters as long as they continue to meet certain criteria.
- Funds are awarded as available; apply early.
- The scholarship can be used for undergraduate coursework only.
Wright Path Scholarship
Wright State University's $1,000 Wright-Path Scholarship is designed to recognize students who graduated with an Associate Degree and a 3.0 final cumulative GPA from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Clark State College, Edison State Community College, Sinclair College or Southern State Community College while participating in the partnership program.

- No scholarship application is needed.
- Must submit a final transcript showing the associate degree was earned and the corresponding cumulative GPA.
- Students must enroll at least half-time.
- The scholarship is divided evenly between Fall and Spring.
- Students must be seeking their first bachelor’s degree.

Online Scholarship Application
Transfer students can submit ONE online scholarship application to apply for multiple scholarships funded by the Wright State Foundation and the university. Applicants are considered for each competitive scholarship based on the eligibility criteria listed in the descriptions. To see what you may qualify for, use our scholarship search. The priority deadline to apply for the 2026-27 academic year is February 1, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), with a secondary deadline of April 1, 2026, for those admitted after the priority date. You must be admitted to apply.
