What types of positions are available at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and in the Federal Government in Ohio? What types of positions are available in the private companies that support the federal government? How do internship programs lead to full-time jobs on the base? What qualifications are needed to apply? What benefits are provided by the government? What does the career pathway look like working in or supporting the government?

Hosted by the Raj Soin College of Business, a panel of influential leaders in the government and defense community will discuss what it is like working for the government and defense organizations. This rare opportunity will provide insight from a team of prominent panelists:

  • Cassie Barlow, President of SOCHE, retired Base Commander at WPAFB
  • Andrea Kunk, President of Peerless Technologies
  • Jamie Parks, Procurement Analyst, Air Force Research Laboratory (Contracting)
  • Kathy Sowers, Director of Strategic Plans, Programs, Requirements, and Analyses, Air Force Material Command (AFMC)
