The 43rd Ryterband Symposium takes place on Thursday, March 30 at the United Theological Seminary in Trotwood, featuring Prof. Joel Lohr, President, Hartford International University for Religion and Peace and Prof. Joel Kaminsky, Morningstar Family Professor of Jewish Studies, Smith College on “Humor and Hope in the Bible.” 

4:00 pm “God Has Brought Me Laughter: Exploring Humor & Hope in the Bible” by Prof. Kaminsky

7:30 pm “Jewish/Christian Dialogue is no Joke…Or is it?” by Prof. Kaminsky

“Is Christian Humor Even a Thing? What I’ve Learned from Jewish-Christian Dialogue by Prof. Lohr

The lectures are free and open to the university community and general public.
