Campus Recreation

Recreation Commons

Located off of the atrium on the lower level of the Student Union, this space provides a relaxing atmosphere for students to unwind with passive recreational opportunities. These include playing billiards, table tennis, and foosball. Comfortable seating and study tables surround a 65” flat screen television. Wireless internet and two computer access points are also available for students wishing to check email or surf the web.

Students wishing to play billiards should bring their Wright1 card to the Recreation Desk. Once they check in, the staff will issue the necessary equipment (billiards players are not permitted to use their own billiards balls). Players will be charged a nominal fee of $1.50 per half hour that will be paid when the equipment is returned. Payment must be either cash, check or credit card. No Raider Cash will be accepted.

Students wishing to play table tennis should bring their Wright1 card to the Recreation Desk. At check-in, they will exchange their Wright1 Card for paddles at no charge. Table tennis balls are available for $.25 and are yours to keep. Once players are finished with the paddles, they must be returned to the Recreation Desk in exchange for their ID.

Always check the CREC Calendar for operational hours, special closings, and events.
