Join Us:  Women Faculty and Staff Rendezvous - reimagined

The Wright State University Women’s Center and Center for Faculty Excellence are thrilled to announce the return of the Women Faculty & Staff Rendezvous on Friday, September 15 from 3:00-5:00pm in 019 Student Union. This Rendezvous originated in the early 1990s to provide women faculty the opportunity to connect and provide advice for obtaining tenure. The reimagined initiative is designed to foster a sense of community, facilitate networking, and address the unique needs of women and gender-expansive faculty and staff as we as a community and as a nation face sociopolitical, economic, and public health-related turbulence.

To kick off the Rendezvous, we will be meeting in 019 of the Student Union (the Culture & Identity Center space) from 3pm-5pm on September 15th for light refreshments, an update on the state of women at Wright State, speed networking, and a discussion of what exactly we need the Rendezvous to be/how the Rendezvous can serve us most effectively. You can RSVP for the event here by September 11. We encourage you to forward this invitation to any woman employed at WSU (this list only goes to faculty) who might be interested in this event.

Additionally, please save the date for the following Rendezvous: October 5th from 9am-11am at the Dunbar Library Starbucks; November 3rd from 4pm-6pm at the Wandering Griffin.
