The Peace Lecture Committee invites you to a panel discussion on Pipelines, Water & Climate Change: Understanding Environment & Human Well-being. Free and open to the public!
SPEAKERS and TOPICS
- Guy Jones, a local activist and member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, will discuss the Dakota Access pipeline and water contamination in North Dakota and Dayton.
- Tish O'Dell works for the Community Environment Legal Defense Fund, which engages in legal advocacy of workers' rights and nature's rights. She is also president of Ohio Community Rights Network.
- Allen Hunt, a professor of physics at Wright State, will talk about climate change.
