Please join me in celebrating National Transfer Student Week from October 16 to 20 as we recognize transfer student success and recommit ourselves to enhancing their experiences.
The purpose of National Transfer Student Week is two-fold: to celebrate not only the values, contributions, and presence of our transfer students but also the support and dedication of our faculty and staff who are transfer champions; and to increase awareness among faculty and staff about our students and reflect on our own practices to make our university more welcoming to transfer students.
Transfer students are an integral part of the Wright State community. I encourage you to find a way to be involved and be part of supporting our transfer-affirming culture. During National Transfer Student Week, Wright State will also host coordinated events and activities both on- and off-campus.
