Registered Students
Eligible students registered with ODS may request interpreting or live captioning services for their classes and other academic activities, at no cost to the student. Students must submit all requests via the AIM portal. Please allow at least 48 hours notice for any requests.

- Real-time or live event Captioning CART (What is CART)
- FM and IR amplification systems available for check-out
Students registered with ODS, please log into AIM and make your requests for ASL and CART.
Access AIM PortalUniversity Event Organizers
Wright State community members, departments, student organizations, and external event organizers who need Communication Access services, including American Sign Language interpreting or real-time/live event captioning CART, for university events should submit a request through the AIM Communication Access request form.

Requests are submitted through AIM using your email address. After entering your email, you will receive a verification code to access the form. A Wright State login is not required.
Departments or organizations hosting the event are responsible for the cost of interpreting/CART services. When submitting a request, please include the appropriate department or funding contact. If you are not affiliated with Wright State, you may complete the form with the available details, and the Office of Disability Services will follow up as needed to confirm arrangements.
Please allow at least 48 hours' notice for requests. Additional notice is recommended for larger or more complex events.
How to Submit a Communication Access Request
- Access the AIM Communication Access request form.
- Under the Communication Access heading, select Start Request.
- Enter your email address and select Find Your Account.
- Check your email for a verification code, then enter the code to continue.
- Confirm your contact details in the sponsor view.
- Select Add New Request.
- Complete the form with event details, service type, and funding information, as applicable.
- Submit the request.
