Student Health Insurance Plan

Wright State University has partnered with Anthem Student Advantage to provide students with medical and prescription drug coverage.

Wright State automatically enrolls the following students in the Student Health Insurance Plan and assesses a fee to the student account:

  • All domestic undergraduate students registered for 12 or more credit hours per term
  • All domestic graduate students registered for 6 or more credit hours per term
  • All international students registered for 1 or more credit hours per term

Student health insurance coverage can be waived if the student has coverage under another qualifying plan and the waiver is submitted by the deadline.

If the Student Health Insurance Plan is not waived by the deadline, the student will be enrolled in Wright State University’s student medical and prescription drug insurance plan.

Domestic undergraduate students taking at least 6 credit hours and less than 12 credit hours per term can voluntarily enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan.
