Dear Colleagues,
I have great news to share. Last Friday, the Higher Learning Commission notified us that its Institutional Actions Council has accepted the Focused Visit site visitors’ favorable recommendations. As a result, HLC has returned Wright State University to a condition of full compliance ahead of our comprehensive visit by HLC, scheduled for August 25 and 26, 2025. I’m very happy to announce that this is the best of all possible outcomes.
Of course, this was an absolute team effort, and we couldn’t be happier with how the campus community engaged in the process. The evidence we gathered and exhibited was elevated exponentially by the many voices lent by faculty and staff during the site visit.

Please accept my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this vital endeavor. The Focused Visit process brought us together in pursuit of a common goal. Our efforts and the success we have achieved prove that there is nothing we can’t accomplish on behalf of our institution when we work together.
