Wright State University was once again recognized for its commitment to military-connected students and their families with a Military Friendly School Silver ranking for 2026–2027.
Six Wright State engineering and computer science students received prestigious Department of Defense SMART (Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation) Scholarships.
Wright State was named to the 2025 Best for Vets: Colleges list by the Military Times, recognizing the university’s longstanding commitment to supporting military service members, veterans and their families.
Jason Massengill was appointed associate dean for military and veterans affairs and assistant designated institutional official at the Boonshoft School of Medicine and system liaison for military and veterans affairs at Premier Health.
Wright State University was once again recognized as a Collegiate Purple Star campus by the Ohio Department of Higher Education for its commitment to supporting military-connected students and veterans.
Wright State’s Calamityville served as a key host site for Relentless Valor, where nearly 400 military personnel conducted joint medical and combat readiness training alongside international observers.
