Latif Bolat, a Turkish scholar and musician specializing in Sufi music, has performed throughout the world. He will celebrate the mystical tradition of Sufism through music, poetry, and song. The performance will include students reciting mystical poetry, such as poems by Jalal al-Din Rumi, as Latif Bolat accompanies them with devotional music. The Wright State University Collegiate Chorale will also perform a Turkish folk song.
Free and open to the public.
