DEALING WITH DIFFICULT PEOPLE
LUNCH & LEARN WORKSHOP
With special guest: Dale Eilerman
All WSU Faculty & Staff are Invited to this Lunch & Learn Workshop
The fact is, each of us has a unique personality that causes us to form our own perspectives on the world and ways of dealing with people. Some develop habits that make them difficult for others to work with. How we react to these “difficult people” will determine how much we enjoy our jobs and will affect the quality of the work that we produce as a team. Learn the difference between a difficult situation and a difficult person, how to control your own emotional reactions to difficult people, and some techniques for working effectively with them.
A little about our speaker: Dale Eilerman, M.Ed., PCC-S has 35 years of experience as a coach, clinical counselor and health care administrator. During the course of his career he has provided internal and external training related to clinical skills development as well as training in supervision, management and leadership. Dale possesses skills in organization development, strategic planning, quality improvement, team building and conflict management. He has addressed organizational performance as a consultant, coach, trainer, and mediator with a wide variety of organizations and sees clients at his private practice, Positive Solutions Coaching and Counseling.
