Change happens whether you like it or not. Even the most complex, seemingly insurmountable organization challenges can have positive outcomes. Appreciative Inquiry creates the conditions for exceptional change. The Organizational Effectiveness Lecture Series (OELS) presents perspectives on the factors, practices, and conditions that enable exceptional human processes and outcomes in organizational life. OELS should be of special interest to specialists in human resources, organization development, leadership, training and development, strategy, or anyone who wants to help any organization reach its greatest potential. This event is in two parts. The first part is a discussion panel. This event will teach you about how to make positive change happen in your organization. You will hear about principles of positive change, and how to use methodologies such as appreciative inquiry to create sustainable momentum for change. During the panel discussion, you will learn about how to bring people together to solve big problems. Discover more about how to generate a vision of excellence that really connects with people and motivates them to change. After the panel discussion stay for more interaction with Dr. Barros as she will share her thoughts about new innovations on how to conduct appreciative inquiry. She will lead exercises to demontrate the principles in action.
