Join the Women's Center in a viewing and discussion of the series Women of the Movement. Discussants Dr. Nicole Carter, Gail Cyan & Quatez Scott will discuss the role of women in inciting movements for change. In particular, they will focus on Mamie Till-Mobley, and the activism that ensued after the brutal murder of her son Emmett Till.
