Join the Wright State University Jazz Ensemble in concert as we host world-renowned and award winning jazz pianist, Ben Markley.

Markley is a pianist, composer, arranger, author, educator, and leader of the Ben Markley Big Band, a daring ensemble known for their creative take on beloved modern and contemporary jazz classics. In addition, Markley remains an active performer in the Denver metropolitan area, throughout the Front Range region, and in major jazz cities across the globe. The Wright State Jazz Ensemble is thrilled to perform a program entirely comprised of Markley's inventive music, for your listening enjoyment.

This concert is free and open to the public. The Wright State Jazz Studies program is grateful for financial support from a College of Liberal Arts Strategic Grant award, which helped to make this event possible.
