Led by Greg Asman, Instructional Designer, CTL. This workshop/discussion doesn’t take place in a lab or conference room, it takes place while taking a walk around campus and talking with colleagues about the topic of the day to share your thoughts, ideas, opportunities and challenges involved with that walk’s topic. These walks will be 30-45 minutes at a leisurely pace and will be indoors and utilize our tunnel system or be held outdoors if weather permits! The topic of this Walk and Talk will be about ways to give students feedback on their progress other than via exam grades. The group(s) will be given several questions and statements regarding assessing student progress and giving them feedback on how they are progressing to choose from and discuss during the walk. Potential topics include rubrics, self checks and peer feedback.
