Presentation of Battle Flag to WSU Communication Department

All are welcome to a November 17, 2014, reception at 1–2 p.m. in Endeavour Room, where Major Melinda M. Rayter will present the United States Battle Flag flown on September 11, 2014, by the 909th Forward Surgical Expeditionary Team on their Forward Operating Base at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, to the WSU Department of Communication.

The presentation of this Battle Flag is in honor of the faculty, staff, and students who serve and/or have served, as well as in honor of those affiliated with the Communication Department whose family members serve and/or have served. The Battle Flag is a one-of-a-kind Battle Flag flown by the best and only "FLEX" Forward Surgical Team in Theatre. Light refreshments will be provided.
