Our teaching has transformed. We are teaching remotely via live Collaborate Ultra break-out rooms or Webex sessions, using asynchronous group videos to share presentations and develop community interactions, and even teaching in-person via physical distancing while simultaneously broadcasting live to remote students. These are only a few of the ways that we are teaching students this fall. It’s the perfect time to get together to share challenges, successes, and "I’ll never do that again!"
Please join us for Tips and Sips this Thursday, September 3, 4-5 p.m. Tips and Sips is a virtual safe space for faculty to grab a drink, get a snack, and drop in on a Webex session to chat about experiences. Each fall session will focus on a specific topic with a brief 10-15 minute presentation, followed by group discussion and sharing of ideas. This tips and sips session topic is Strategies to Support Student Participation and Discussion in a Virtual Classroom.
