The Adventurers Guild: Game Master Workshops: Learn how to run DND and other Tabletop Games

Thursday, March 26, 2026, 5 pm to 9 pm
Campus:
Dayton
Rike Hall 058
Audience:
Current Students

Have you ever wanted to learn how to run your own tabletop game like Dungeons and Dragons? Then come join our event to learn to be the best game master! We have several experiences GM's and DM's in our club that have volunteered to teach any students interested in learning the art of running your game. We will also recommend resources and tools that can help you continue learning after our short seminar.

Our Featured Speakers:

- Talon Hirt: Our "forever" Dungeon Master for our Guild! He has 15+ years of experience, and specializes in creating his own tabletop systems. He loves to play Dungeons and Dragons in the Forgotten Realms world of Faerun, and prefers to play on DND made worlds instead of creating his own. He loves heavy roleplay from his characters and hard boss battles.

- Victoria Smith: With 13 years of experience, Victoria has been running campaigns since she was in 8th grade. She first started by creating her own World and really like home brew world building. Although she has much experience in running Dungeons and Dragons, she is not as experienced in running other tabletops.

If you would like to bring some things to prepare, please bring pencils and paper to take notes on. You are free to bring any Dungeon Master or Game Master tools, books, or gear that you would like but it is not required.

Please RSVP if interested, and thank you for joining this event.
