PLUS Loan Credit Override
Your Federal Direct PLUS Loan has been credit denied due to adverse credit history. In order to receive the Federal Direct PLUS Loan you have the following options:
- Obtain an Endorser; or
- Document Extenuating Circumstances.
Information about how to proceed will be included in an email or letter sent to the borrower.
Letters for Parent PLUS Loans will be mailed to the address provided on the Parent PLUS Loan Application. Email notification will be sent to the email address provided on the Parent PLUS Loan Application.
Letters for Graduate PLUS Loans will be mailed to your primary address listed on WINGS under the Personal Information tab. Email notification will be sent to the student's Wright State University email address.
PLEASE NOTE: If endorsement or credit override is approved, the graduate or parent borrower will be required to complete PLUS Credit Counseling.
