Student Loan Limit Resolution
When processing your FAFSA, the FAFSA Processing System determined that, according to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), you may have received a total amount of student loans that exceeds the loan limits established for the federal student loan programs. As a result of borrowing federal student loans in excess of allowable limits, you are currently ineligible to receive federal student aid.
You can view your Federal student loan history online at studentaid.gov with your FSA ID. Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard, where you will see a summary of your loans and grants. In the "My Loans" section, you'll see a list of all of the federal student loans you've received. For each loan, you can view:
- Loan status
- Loan servicer
- Contact information for the loan servicer
You are encouraged to contact Enrollment Services to request an evaluation of your federal student loan history and to discuss the options available to you to place your account within allowable limits.
