On Tuesday, August 3, from 5:30–9:30 a.m., an electrical contractor will be performing maintenance that will create a network outage for the Nutter Center. Wired and wireless network connectivity at the Nutter Center may be unavailable or sporadic during this time.

Nutter Center Network Outage for 8/3
AT&T Cellular Maintenance for 7/27 - 7/29
Beginning Tuesday, July 27th through Thursday, July 29th, AT&T technicians will be on the Dayton Campus to finish their Distributed Antenna System (DAS) upgrade.
Sporadic AT&T cellular outages will occur on Tuesday, 7/27 and Thursday, 7/29, with a complete outage occurring on Wednesday, 7/28 as the upgrade is being performed. This maintenance will greatly improve AT&T wireless coverage within Dayton Campus buildings.

Firewall Upgrade for 7/25
CaTS will be upgrading the Dayton campus production firewall on Sunday, July 25, beginning at 6 a.m.
During this upgrade, network access along with all university systems such as WINGS, WINGS Express, Banner, etc. will be unavailable between 6–6:30 a.m., with the potential for intermittent network interruptions between 6:30–10 a.m. while we are verifying the upgrade was successful. The public wright.edu websites will continue to be available to off-campus users.

Cognos Upgrade for 7/13
IBM Cognos Analytics, the enterprise application for standardized reporting at Wright State, will be upgraded to version 11.2 on Tuesday, July 13, during the regular maintenance window from 6–7 a.m.

Voicemail Outage for 7/13
On Tuesday, July 13, from 6–7 a.m., CaTS will be performing system updates of the campus voicemail server, causing a voicemail outage. During this time individuals will not be able to leave messages or check voicemail.

SecureShare to Replace FileLocker
Due to lack of support by the makers of FileLocker, CaTS will be retiring this application on August 2nd, 2021. It will be replaced with ProofPoint’s SecureShare.
Beginning July 5th, 2021 please begin using SecureShare to transfer sensitive documents. SecureShare can be found here: secureshare.proofpoint.com. FileLocker will no longer be available after August 2nd, 2021.
Faculty and Staff who have regularly used FileLocker will have an account in SecureShare provisioned for them. Student workers who have a business need to transfer sensitive information can request an account by submitting the following form: https://bit.ly/3y4pXmj.

Panopto Outage for 6/26
On Saturday, June 26, our Panopto Cloud will be updated with the latest features and improvements. These updates will require downtime. Panopto expects up to 4 hours of downtime, with a target start time of 9:00 pm EDT.
During the downtime, we will not be able to access videos on our Panopto site and any attempts to upload from Panopto recording clients will result in a 'Server unable to connect' message.
Postponed: Salesforce Upgrade for 6/16
Due to technical difficulties, the Salesforce upgrade scheduled for Wednesday, June 16 has been postponed.

Salesforce Upgrade for 6/16
We will be performing an upgrade to Salesforce on Wednesday, June 16. This will require Salesforce to be offline. The downtime will begin at 9:30 am and is expected to last for a maximum of 2 hours.
Services impacted include:
- Admissions application portal
- Event registration including campus tours and orientation
- ReaderRx, application review
- Salesforce (Reports, Dashboards, List Views)
