Access

VPN Access is required to access Cognos from off campus. Learn about CaTS VPN access.

IBM Cognos Analytics is the enterprise application for standardized reporting at Wright State University. Using Cognos, authorized users can view university student and financial reports. This powerful tool provides users access to reports and dashboards, along with the ability to drill down to detail data quickly and securely.

info circle Cognos has been upgraded. Following this upgrade, all Cognos links automatically redirect users to the new interface. If you are experiencing errors accessing Cognos links, please try clearing your browser cache or rebooting your system. To clear Cache (in Chrome & Firefox), please try the following:
  1. On your computer, open Chrome or Firefox.
  2. Press following keys at once: [Ctrl], [Shift] and [Del].
  3. A Popup opens with the title "Clear recent history".
  4. In the time range dropdown menu, select "All time" or "Everything".
  5. Click the "Clear data" or "Ok" button.
  6. Close your browser and reopen it.

    To request a new report, complete a Service Now form with as much detail as possible.

    To request to change an existing report, complete a Service Now form.

  • How often does data (ODS) refresh?

    Weekly dashboards are refreshed on Tuesday mornings.
