Red River Gorge Intro to Rock Climbing

Head down to one of the most popular climbing meccas of Red River Gorge for a weekend of rock climbing and beautiful fall scenery. Learn the basics of outdoor rock climbing with trained staff. We’ll camp out at the classic climber's spot of Miguel's and send the gnarr on the finest sandstone cliffs the area has to offer.  

Cost: $175 

Cost Includes:  ORC trip leaders, all climbing & camping equipment, meals on location, all permits, camping fees, and transportation from WSU in 12 passenger van. 

Activity Level: Beginner – Advanced; participants should have some experience climbing in our indoor climbing gym; it is recommended to take our top rope belay class before trip.  
Remoteness Scale: Level 2, this is a front country trip.  
Physical Challenge Scale: Level 2, this trip is moderate.
