Campus Recreation: National Parks Road Trip

We are back with another National Parks Road Trip, but with new National Parks! Travel around the U.S. college road trip style as we spend the week sleeping in tents, hiking around five National Parks, and exploring the beauty of the country. Visit North Dakota, Wyoming, & South Dakota in this adventure. National Parks include Theodore Roosevelt, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Wind Cave, and Badlands. 

Search for prairie dogs and bison in Theodore Roosevelt, view gushing geysers in Yellowstone, hike the gorgeous mountains in Grand Teton, take a cave tour in Wind Cave, and explore canyons and towering spires in Badlands on this epic national parks road trip. 

Cost: $599. $100 non-refundable deposit required to register with remainder of $499 due one month before trip departure.

Cost Includes: Transportation in 12 passenger van to and from WSU, all large equipment needs, entrance into six National Parks, meals on location, ORC Trip Leaders, and campsite fees.

Activity Level: Beginner. Participants do not need prior experience, but must be physically fit to hike up to 6 miles a day and sleep in tents.
Physical Challenge Scale: Level 2, this trip is moderate.
Remoteness Scale: Level 1 & 2, this is a front country trip.
