2026 Higher Learning Commission Comprehensive Visit

About the Comprehensive Visit
The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) conducts a comprehensive visit once every ten years to confirm that institutions on the Standard Pathway meet the Criteria for Accreditation, comply with requirements from the US Department of Education, and are pursuing continuous institutional improvement.
A team of peer reviewers assigned by HLC will visit Wright State University on April 21-22, 2026, for our next Comprehensive Visit. The visit will require engagement from the entire Wright State University community, including students, faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees. About two months before the team’s visit, students will receive a Student Opinion Survey. Team members will also visit the Lake Campus during their visit.
HLC will evaluate the institution at all levels to ensure that Wright State meets the highest standards of quality and that our programs and services meet the expectations of both our students and the broader educational community.
