Do Ask, Do Tell: Breaking the Silence Panel is part of Wright State University National Coming Out Week 2016!

Since the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell in 2010 that allowed gay, lesbian, and bisexual people to serve openly in the United States and the U.S. military allowing Transgender people to serve since June of 2016 has there been a shift in the inclusion of LGBT people in he United States armed forces? This panel will consist of Veterans who identify as LGBTQ and/or Allies speaking to their experiences serving before and/or after Don't Ask, Don't Tell was repealed. The panel will be facilitated by the Director of the Veterans & Military Center Seth Gordon.

This event is lead by the Wright State University Veterans & Military Center, Women's Center, & the Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, & Ally (LGBTQA) Affairs.

This program was financially assisted by the Jacob G. Schmidlapp Trusts, Fifth Third Bank, Trustee.
