Campus Recreation: The Great Hammock Hang

Friday, September 18, 2026, 4 to 7 pm
Rockafield Cemetery - off University Boulevard between Mini University and the Library

Head into the campus woods for The Great Hammock Hang, an unforgettable evening of firelight, music, and connection. For one night, the forest will transform into a hammock-filled hangout, with hammocks strung throughout the trees so you can swing, lounge, and relax in every direction you look. Settle into a hammock, grab a s’more, and gather around a glowing bonfire while music plays in the background.
Whether you’re gently swaying under the canopy, roasting marshmallows by the fire, or laughing with new friends, this is your chance to slow down, recharge, and experience the outdoors in a whole new way. For one evening, the woods become the ultimate hammock lounge, and you’re invited to hang out.
Bring your own hammock or camp chair - or snag a hammock already in the trees.
