On Wednesday, July 1st at roughly 12 p.m., access to login to Qualtrics, create new surveys, and run reports on active surveys was cut off for all Wright State users. CaTS is aware of this and is working with Qualtrics to resolve this issue.
Users who have links to active Qualtrics surveys are still able to respond and submit surveys. Data from both current and past surveys will not be lost due to this interruption of service.

On Tuesday, July 7, from 8 – 11 a.m., CaTS will be performing upgrades to the software used to configure the swipe card/touch screen enabled Xerox Printers. During this time period, Xerox printers equipped with card swipe readers and touch screen interfaces will be offline.
Printing to Xerox devices that are not card swipe enabled and do not have touch screens will continue to be available during this time.
The affected device models include WorkCentre 6655, WorkCentre 7835 and WorkCentre 7855. All functions of these devices such as scan to email, copy, fax, and printing will be unavailable. This includes all printing to the WSU Secure AD and WSU Secure NOAD print queues.

Panopto Cloud Downtime - Saturday, June 27th, 9:00 pm to 12:00 am
On Saturday, June 27th, our Panopto cloud site will be upgraded to the latest release. This upgrade will occur from 9:00 pm to 12:00 am EDT. We expect up to 90 minutes of viewer downtime, beginning at the start of the maintenance window. This maintenance impacts Panopto's: Integrations, Processing / Encoding, Recording / Uploading, Search, Video playback, and Panopto's Website.

CaTS has been notified that Mathway, a popular math solving application, recently suffered a data breach, most likely in January 2020. The breach affected approximately 300 thousand Mathway users, some of whom are Wright State students, faculty, and staff.

CaTS has been notified that the Chronicle of Higher Education recently suffered a data breach, most likely in February 2020. The breach affected approximately 3.5 million Chronicle of Higher Education users, some of whom are Wright State students, faculty, and staff. The stolen credentials from the breach have also been discovered on publicly accessible sources.
