Phillip Boyd Conway, 76, of Vanceburg, Ky., passed away on July 8, 2023, at the Hospice of Hope Care Center. He was a retired Lab Technician Coordinator with Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio.
He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the US Air Force. Phillip was a member of the Moose Lodge, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion.
He was born in Maysville, Ky., on Nov. 29, 1946, the son of the late Arthur Conway and Verlie Mae Morrison Riggs.
He is survived by his son, David Conway (Jennifer Watkins) and his daughter, Lisa Caupp (Daren) both of Springfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Joshua Schieber, Matthew Conway, Tyler Conway, Alysa Jensen, Dustin Conway, Cody Caupp and Brittany Caupp; numerous great grandchildren and his sister, Irene Boone of Maysville, KY.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his special friend and mother of his children, Mary Martin Conway and his siblings Irvin Conway, Linda Boling, Delores Kern and Lucy Kabler.
